Nothing Moved privacy
The short version: Nothing Moved has no account, asks for no name and no email, and never sees your contacts, photos, location or files. Your save game lives on your own device. The only things that leave the device are anonymous counts of how the game is played, whatever a purchase or an advert needs, and nothing else.
1. Who is responsible
Onat Atmaca, Berlin, the operator named in the Impressum. For anything privacy-related, write to hello@onatatmaca.com.
2. Your save game
Your progress, your floor plans and your settings are stored on your device. They are not uploaded and there is no cloud save. Deleting the app deletes them, so a reinstall starts over.
3. Anonymous gameplay statistics
The game sends a small number of counts to the developer's own server in the European Union, so it can be told whether people are enjoying it. These carry a random install identifier generated on your device. That identifier is not your advertising ID, is not linked to any account, and cannot be traced back to you.
What is counted: starting a session, completing a contract, making a purchase, playing the daily challenge, and whether the game was opened again on the following days. What is never sent: any name, email address, phone number, contact, photo, file, or location.
4. Purchases
Optional purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. Your payment details go to Google or Apple and never reach the developer, who receives only the fact that a purchase completed, so the game can unlock what you paid for.
5. Adverts
The game shows rewarded adverts only, and only after you choose to watch one. There are no interstitials, no pop-ups, and no advert you did not ask for. Adverts are served by Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier from your device. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked for consent before that happens, and refusing costs you nothing but a less relevant advert. You can reset or limit that identifier at any time in your device settings.
6. Leaderboards
The daily challenge has an optional leaderboard, run by Google Play Games or Apple Game Center. If you post a score, your platform nickname and that score are visible to other players. That is handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies, and you can simply not post a score.
7. Notifications
The game can send two local reminders: one when a shift finishes, one when a new daily is available. They are generated on your device, are offered only after your second day of play, and stay off until you accept. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them.
8. Children
The game is not directed at children and is not designed for them. Nothing is knowingly collected from anyone under the age required in their country.
9. How long anything is kept
Anonymous gameplay counts are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Because the statistics are anonymous they cannot be tied to you, and so cannot be individually retrieved or erased. If you want to stop contributing to them, see below.
10. Your rights, and switching it off
You can turn the anonymous statistics off in the game under Settings. If you are in the EU or EEA you also have the right to access, correct, delete and export any personal data held about you, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Write to hello@onatatmaca.com.
11. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it, and the change is noted in the release notes.
